bioGenous held the "Developing Organoids·Benefiting the Country" event -- a special symposium on organoid technology and its applications at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. During the event, BioGenous' Chief Scientist, Professor Zhao Bing from Fudan University, delivered a keynote speech titled "Human Organoids Growth Simulation and Disease." Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on combining organoid technology with advanced bioengineering techniques and reached a strategic cooperation agreement.
The Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, was established in February 2006 through a collaborative agreement between the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The institute was founded in response to the central government's strategic goal of building an innovative nation and the National Medium- and Long-Term Science and Technology Development Plan, as well as to support Shenzhen's strategy of becoming an innovation-driven city. After 15 years of development, SIAT has built a collaborative innovation ecosystem focused on scientific research, integrating research, education, industry, and capital. It currently comprises nine research institutes, multiple industry development funds, and several new professional research institutions with independent legal status.
